Bombers 2½ Ring Ported Barrel
The Bombers 2½ Ring Ported Barrel offers a mild leverage option within the ring‑cheek family, making it the softest of the multi‑ring variations. The half‑ring reduces the overall leverage on both the mouthpiece and the poll, creating a more forgiving feel while still providing the ability to refine control. This makes it a suitable choice for horses that need a touch of lift or poll influence without the intensity of a 3‑ or 4‑ring setup.
Its ported barrel mouthpiece separates rein aids for clearer communication and allows limited movement so the port can adapt to different mouth shapes. This adjustable action helps the horse distribute pressure between tongue and bars, supporting relaxation and responsiveness. Available in standard and pony cheekpiece sizes, the bit is supplied with a nylon back strap for added stability.
