BR Sweet Iron Double Jointed Curved Dee Ring Snaffle
The BR Double Jointed D‑Ring Sweet Iron Bit combines a stable D‑ring cheekpiece with an anatomically shaped Sweet Iron mouthpiece to promote soft, even pressure and improved bit acceptance. The double‑jointed design features a flat center piece that rests on the tongue, creating slightly more tongue pressure than a single‑jointed snaffle while maintaining a comfortable, balanced feel. The Sweet Iron coating oxidizes into a sweet‑tasting surface rust, encouraging natural saliva production and helping the horse relax and accept the bit more readily.
The fixed D‑rings keep the mouthpiece steady and prevent the bit from being pulled through the mouth, offering clearer, more direct aids—an advantage for young horses or those needing additional lateral support. With 14 mm thickness and 65 mm stainless‑steel rings, this bit provides a reliable, mild action that suits a wide range of horses and training situations.
Key Features:
- Sweet Iron mouthpiece — stimulates natural salivation for better acceptance
- Double‑jointed design — anatomical shape for soft, even pressure distribution
- Stable D‑ring cheeks — direct aids and secure positioning, ideal for young or green horses
