The Centaur Blue Steel King Dee Double Jointed Mouth Bit with Loose Brass Roller Disks is designed to encourage softness, salivation, and improved acceptance while offering the stability and mild lateral guidance of a traditional Dee‑ring cheek. Made from advanced Blue Steel—a modern evolution of Sweet Iron—the mouthpiece oxidizes quickly when exposed to air and humidity. This natural surface rust creates a sweet taste that stimulates saliva production, helping the horse relax and stay more receptive to the rider’s aids.

Loose brass roller disks add an additional layer of comfort and engagement. Many horses enjoy the movement of the rollers, which can help quiet a busy mouth and promote steadier contact. Combined with the double‑jointed mouthpiece, which reduces the nutcracker effect and distributes pressure more evenly, this bit offers a gentle, responsive feel suitable for a wide range of training needs.
