Bombers Eggbutt Elliptical Cable Snaffle
The Bombers Eggbutt Elliptical Cable Snaffle combines the stability of an Eggbutt cheekpiece with the innovative comfort of a cable mouthpiece. The Eggbutt design prevents pinching and keeps the bit steady against the horse’s cheeks, offering a more consistent feel and introducing light poll pressure for refined communication.
The Elliptical Cable mouthpiece applies targeted tongue pressure to encourage the horse to lower its head. Its smaller surface area creates sharper pressure than a control plate, while the cable’s “spring‑back” action helps the bit return to neutral, reducing tension and improving responsiveness. This design eliminates center links found in traditional three‑piece bits, minimizing pressure points and enhancing comfort.
Key Features:
- Eggbutt cheekpiece — prevents pinching and stabilizes the bit
- Elliptical Cable mouthpiece — applies precise tongue pressure with spring‑back action
- Cable innovation — removes center links for smoother, more comfortable contact
