Jacks Stud Chain
The Jacks Stud Chain is designed to provide handlers with added control and communication when leading or handling horses that may require extra attention or restraint. Available in brass plated, chrome plated, or solid brass finishes, these durable chains are commonly used during hand-walking, veterinary care, stall rest, or other situations where additional control is beneficial.
Used similarly to a curb strap from the ground, a stud chain applies gentle pressure beneath the horse’s chin to encourage attentiveness and responsiveness to the handler. It can also help reinforce subtle handling cues while maintaining safer, more controlled horse management.
